| I have been going to Charles Town almost every weekend for over a year and on Dec. 31, 2006 I finally hit a little Jackpot 1,440. The machines are tight all year round, however they were a little bit more loose on the day after Thanksgiving. | 7 |
| Had my 5th visit there two weeks ago..had not been in several months..The atmosphere was dead...no energy or excitment in the air as usual. I did not hear any winner yells no machines ringing with wins and no one seemed to be happy gambling, and the machines were tight. I figured we were gamblimg to pay off the new parking garage and hotel there. Considering that I left with enough gas money for the trip home...I am probably right. It was not a fun trip this time and I probably will not be back anytime soon. | 6 |
| I have been there 4 times this year and it is dead! | 7 |
| they’re racetracks with video games - no real poker or other table
games.
The WV Legislature is, however, currently considering a bill to legalize
table games and many insiders say it has a decent chance of passing. Stay
tuned; the current session adjourns April 9th. Things tend to happen very
quickly in the last two weeks of the session. That is particularly true
regarding controversial measures

| If you like playing slots, Charles Town is nice. I have been there 4 or 5 times and came home with money all but one time. Play near the cashier... those seem to pay the most. | 7 |
